When Randy Hotham first ran for the Legislature, he didn’t just insert a flier in a doorway and disappear, but knocked on my door, introduced himself, and at my invitation, came in and sat at my kitchen table. In addition to discussing his own hopes and concerns, he asked about my own. How cool is that!

Since then, Randy has been elected twice, and now seeks a third term. There is no question he has proved himself more than worthy of that honor. The knowledge he has gained, his political insight, skills, and experience set him apart from other candidates.

Not long ago, he attended a gathering for a young man who was leaving for Iraq. Randy, like all of us there, became part of the family who wished the young man godspeed and a safe return. A man of distinction indeed!
