Larry Lachance greeted clients, volunteers and supporters at a picnic sponsored by the Catholic Charities Maine SEARCH program. Musicians Lorraine Ouellette and Gerry Dube entertained more than 70 people at Gabe Couture’s farm to celebrate 31 years of assisting elderly and disabled people in remaining independent. In addition to chairing the SEARCH Advisory Committee for many years, Lachance is a member of the Lewiston School Committee and a candidate for Lewiston District 73 in the Maine House of Representatives.
