I first met Roy Gedat over 20 years ago, when he worked at Holy Innocents and I worked with low-income people in Portland. He always supported the concepts of paying people a living wage and affordable health care for everyone. Working at Holy Innocents and the Child Health Center, he saw how important that is.
It is paramount that we get someone in the Legislature who understands and will support working families, including bringing good-paying jobs to Maine, and cutting college costs so that tuition is affordable for future generations, not just the wealthy. That can be done while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
In short, I need a representative who is willing to look at new ideas and is answerable to the people.
Gedat listens when people talk to him and is easy to talk to. He is the person residents in House District 95 need.
