CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – School districts around New Hampshire still are looking for 32 special education teachers, a month after school began. They may get some help from the state’s participation in a national recruitment campaign.

New Hampshire is one of five states chosen to work with the National Center for Special Education Personnel this year. Through the center, the state is running online ads for 20 of the 32 special education vacancies.

The campaign also focuses on finding those who don’t yet have a college degree. By distributing brochures and videos that target students as young as middle school, the personnel center is trying to bring more people into the field.
