Preschool children of all faiths attend the Temple Shalom Nursery School in Auburn to socialize and to learn more about their world. On Sept. 28, the Tuesday-Thursday class explored Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary, where they spied a Monarch butterfly, a praying mantis, birds, squirrels and chipmunks.
