On Sept. 13, my wife and I wrote a letter entitled “We should pray for peace.” This was a reaction to violence that struck on 9/11 and our involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq.
We failed to mention something important. Why are we targeted by extremist Muslims? Let us take a good look at ourselves. We are destroying babies in the womb at an alarming rate. Nowhere in the world is abortion so rampant and available.
We are no longer good guys, but maybe we are bad guys. Mother Theresa warned President Bill and first lady Hillary Clinton of the dire consequences to a country that promotes abortion on demand. We suggest in the name of freedom and the First Amendment and for the survival of this nation that we elect officials who will overturn Roe vs. Wade.
Do you know that over 40 million babies have been murdered since 1973, if not more by now? These are children who could have been doctors, lawyers, clergy, leaders or perhaps even a scientist who could have found a cure for cancer.
Should we be surprised that another culture would look at us as a weak nation on the verge of collapse. Again we want to emphasize what Mother Theresa said: “The fruits of abortion are nuclear war.”
Therefore, we believe it’s time for a big change. We better take this as a warning!
