LEWISTON – Mrs. Dorel B. Ouellette, 80, of Lewiston, formerly of 173 Main St., Sabattus, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Marshwood Health Care Facility.
She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 4, 1925, the daughter of Louis and Annie (Gilbert) Beaulieu.
She was educated in Lewiston schools and had been a member of this community all her life. She was the wife of Louis Ouellette, who predeceased her in 1999.
She worked as a stainer at Knapp Shoe until her retirement. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds and her Pomeranian dogs, which she adored. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary parish in Sabattus.
She is survived by one brother, Laurier Beaulieu, and his wife, Florence, of Reading Mass; one sister, Jacqueline Grandmaison, and her husband, Ronald, of Whiting, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by two brothers, Louis and Bertrand Beaulieu; and two sisters, Laurette Meservier and Doris Beaulieu.
The family would like to thank the Chapman House in Auburn and Marshwood Health Care Facility in Lewiston for their special and thoughtful care of Dorel.
