RANGELEY – A surprise party was held recently for Clark and Pat Allen of Rangeley, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The event was planned by their children and held at the home of a son and his wife, Tim and Donna Allen in Rangeley. Their children are Donna Allen of Sidney, Debbie Boothby of Canton, Buster Allen and wife, Mary, of Livermore, Bob Allen and wife, Tammy, of Buckfield and Tim Allen and wife, Donna, of Iowa and Rangeley.

Mr. Allen and the former Pat Eaton were married on Oct. 27, 1956, at the First Universalist Church in Auburn. In addition to their children, they have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Allen is president of the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club.

Mrs. Allen is a homemaker, having raised five children, and is currently an avid gardener.
