NORWAY – Arlene Mae Churchill, 80, of Buckfield, died Oct. 18, at the Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born in Montgomery, Vt. on Oct. 9, 1926, the daughter of Levi and Mildred (Shangraw) Burmor and was educated in Hudson, Mass., schools.
She was very talented at crocheting and crafts, and loved to go fishing and camping with her son, Alan.
She always loved to have her family around.
She will be missed by all who knew her, especially her dog, Mollie.
She is survived by one son, Alan Churchill, and his wife, Carol, of Buckfield; one daughter, Patricia Ouellette and her partner, Jerry Peterson of Ryder, N.D.; two sisters, Eldora Amadon of Waterbury Center, Vt. and Glennis Halton of Norway; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Elmer Churchill, on May 21, 2006, and a daughter, Joan Wasson, on Dec. 21, 2002.
