BRUNSWICK – Daniel Nathan Miller Sr., 69, of 126 Pinkham Brook Rd., Durham, died Friday, Oct. 20, shortly after arrival at Parkview Medical Center.
Born in Durham on Nov. 3, 1936, a son of Nathan C. and Florence R. Parker Miller, he attended Durham schools and graduated from Brunswick High School.
He was a member of the Shiloh Chapel and owned and operated D. N. Miller Masonry and Construction.
He was also a member of the Mid-Maine Corvette Club.
He enjoyed fast cars, Nascar, riding on his John Deere and keeping his lawns mowed, trucking, and keeping all of his vehicles clean. He also enjoyed going out to eat.
He loved his family and his grandchildren were his delight.
He will be remembered for his perfect lawns and shiny clean vehicles, and pride in his home and family.
He is survived by his wife, the former Allison L. Bard of Durham; a daughter, Bethany Hosmer; and her husband, David of Durham; a son, Daniel N. Miller Jr. and his wife, Errolyn of Durham; his grandchildren, Brittany A. Hosmer, Derek N. Miller, Brent A. Miller, Erin Miller, Erika Morse and Tara Flanders; five sisters and their spouses, Faye and Gerald Hobart of Lisbon Falls, Gwen and David Street of New Hampshire, Sylvia and Doug Springer of Missouri, Natalie and Alex Kuchta of Illinois, Joanna and Brian Moore of Massachusetts; and a brother, Norman, and his wife, Patsy Miller, of Georgia.
