AUBURN – Carol Ann Woodbury, 61, of 56 Hersey Hill Road, Minot, died Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 4, 1945, and is survived by her parents, Wilfred and Lorraine Fournier of Auburn.

She attended Sacred Heart school and graduated from Edward Little High School and Bliss Business College.

She owned and operated the Humpty Dumpty Day care in Norway and later was the director of the Rockinghorse Day Care in Lewiston. She most recently was employed by IBM in Atlanta, Ga., as the liaison for French speaking clients.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Woodbury; she was the proud mother of two sons, Kevin Pratt, and his wife, Allie, of Minot and Ken Pratt, and his wife, Melissa, of Greene; she was the stepmother of Jennifer Collins, wife of Alvin Collins of Apex, N.C.; she loved her family and her four grandchildren, Dillon and Jessica of Minot and Ashley and Ryan of Greene, who were all a special source of happiness for her; a brother, Marc Fournier, and his wife, Jean, of Lewiston; a sister, Sonia Tyler, and her husband, Donald, of Auburn; three nephews who loved her, Matthew Fournier of Greene, Traverse Fournier of Auburn and Nicholas Lawton of Ft. Gordon, Ga.

She was predeceased by her identical twin, who died shortly after birth.

Her family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Nicholette Erickson and the staff of Central Maine Oncology; Dr. Roger Austin and the staff at the Hospice House, who supported Carol and her family through her journey.
