As many voters in Oxford County are well aware, I was the Democratic candidate for sheriff in 2002. I received the support and votes of over 9,000 citizens of Oxford County. I have more than 30 years in the law enforcement profession.

Christopher Wainwright has been a dedicated employee of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office and has protected and served the citizens of Oxford County for the last 17 years. He holds the necessary attributes to lead the sheriff’s office into the future. He has the knowledge, ability and desire to work with all emergency service agencies within Oxford County. He portrays professionalism and integrity and is a perfect candidate to replace Sheriff Lloyd Herrick.
