BUMPASS, Va. – Neal Luc Rodrigue, 45, formerly of Lewiston, died Thursday, Oct. 12.

He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 7, 1961, the son of the late Luc Rodrigue and Claudette Lauze Rodrigue. He was educated in Lewiston and graduated with honors from Milburn High School in Virginia, while in the Marine Corps.

He was an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was last stationed at Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia, as an instrument fire control repairman. He then held several different positions as a diesel truck mechanic.

His greatest passion was riding his Harley, and his many pets throughout the years.

He is survived by his mother, Claudette Rodrigue, and her companion, James White, of Auburndale, Fla.; his brother, James Rodrigue, and his wife, Andrea, of Lewiston; two sisters, Lynn Rodrigue, and companion, Harry Antenow, of Ontario, Canada, and Lena Kelson, and her fiancé, Skip Jack, of Buckfield; his former wife, Donna Rodrigue and daughters, Laura and Katie; three nieces, Tiffany, Heather and Hannah; and one nephew, Neal.

He was predeceased by his father, Luc Rodrigue.
