JAY – A 12-year-old boy accused of making threats against students has been charged with terrorizing. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 20 in a Farmington court.

The summons on the charge in connection with an Oct. 13 incident at Jay Middle School was issued late Tuesday, police Chief Larry White Sr. said Wednesday.

Police and Middle School Principal Scott Albert investigated a complaint that a student at the school made threats against multiple students.

School officials also disciplined the child with suspension. He returned to school with an action plan this week.
