Louise Roy, daughter of Beverly and Marc Roy of New Gloucester, recently began studies as a first-year student at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.

Roy, a graduate of Saint Georges School, was selected from a pool of 4,267 applicants to the college and joins a class of 503.
