PALMER, Mass. (AP) – A Ludlow teacher charged with making a bomb threat at the school where she works pleaded not guilty Thursday and was released from police custody.
Tina Fisher, 36, of Westfield, was arrested Wednesday after authorities said she stuck a note to the wall at the East Street Elementary School that referenced the principal and said “bomb, boom.” She had been held on bail and was released after her appearance Thursday in Palmer District Court.
As a condition of release, Fisher must stay away from East Street School and its principal and report to probation once a week. She is scheduled to return to court Dec. 12.
Fisher has been a special education teacher at East Street for five years.
