GREENE – Rick A. Weston, 49, of Greene passed away suddenly in his home on Thursday, Oct. 26, where he has resided for almost 20 years.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1956, in Niskayuna, N.Y., the son of Robert Weston and Nellie Adams.

He was a graduate of Edward Little High School of Auburn, where he was a star football player. He was also a star basketball player for the U.S. Navy while he was overseas.

He later went on to be a master pipefitter for 20 years, and then went on to own his own home repair business.

He was a mentor to many and loved to share his talents and his wisdom with all who wanted to learn. He was a man of pride and honor and was faithful to all he loved.

He enjoyed working with his hands, reading, watching old western movies, watching the Patriots and camping at Devil’s Den in Andover.

His spirit is survived by his son, Ryan Weston; daughter, Serena Weston; granddaughter, Marissa Weston; his fiancée, Lisa Desmond; and his two sisters, Wanda and Rena.

He will be greatly missed by all who loved him and knew him.
