LEWISTON – The wedding of Christina Brochu and George Davis was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2005, at the Bates College Chapel. Deacon Denis Mailhot officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Davis is the daughter of Richard Brochu of Lewiston and Judy Haldin of Rochester, N.H. Mr. Davis is the son of George and Elizabeth Davis of Proctor, Vt.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Hope Moore was matron of honor for her friend, and bridesmaids were Nikki Fortier and Del Anne Turcotte, friends, Marie Dubord, cousin, and Tracy Champagne, sister-in-law. Flower girls were Sydney Moore and Alyssa Champagne, nieces.
A friend of the bridegroom, Jon Letourneau, was best man, and ushers were Jake Champagne, brother-in-law, and Scott Bechard, Anthony Formato and Jonathan Gursz, friends. Colby Desjardins, son of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. The couple is planning a trip to Florida in February. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at Advantage Payroll in Auburn.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Proctor High School in Vermont and a 1998 graduate of Eastern Connecticut University. He is store manager at Colortyme.
