I support Ed and Sheila Degrosseilliers for state senator and state representative. I trust them to make the difficult choices in Augusta and to support our schools, economic security, safety and children.

Ed and Sheila’s opponents are backed by the Republican Party, which is negative on the economy and encouraging business to not invest in Maine. We need positive reasons to vote for our leaders. Democrats have worked with business to target incentives and cut several hundred millions of dollars of business taxes in the last 10 years with former Gov. Angus King. Maine’s income tax rate has not changed for decades. The U.S. Census reports that we are in the middle of the country in local and state taxes. And business opportunities are abundant.

I am proud to vote for Sheila and Ed because they speak positively about Maine’s economy and want to keep Maine families working.
