FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Budget Committee is scheduled to review $4.8 million in department requests for 2007 on Wednesday.

The meeting is at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Franklin County commissioners’ office at the courthouse.

County commissioners reviewed the proposal and reduced it by $104,133, most of it by cutting proposed 3 percent cost of living raises to no more than 2 percent.

The commission’s recommendation is a $4.7 million spending package.
