I am pleased that Ron Gagnon is running as a write-in for sheriff.

As a communications supervisor for many years at the sheriff’s department, I witnessed Sheriff Gagnon as a young deputy who responded to a drowning at Lake Auburn, donated his time during the day in the search and recovery attempt, and then came to work a full night-shift for the department. This went on for months until the subjects were found. He did this because he saw the difficult time the families were going through. He was always willing to help anyone, if possible. That is why I will be voting for Ron Gagnon.

Let us not forget the turmoil between the Sabattus selectmen and Guy Desjardins in 1988 when he was chief. Is that what we want for the county?

People should write in Ron Gagnon for sheriff.
