The city of Auburn needs John Jenkins as its mayor and leader. He has proven success as a two-term mayor of Lewiston and now, as a five-year resident of Auburn, residents are fortunate he can bring his leadership skills and integrity to the city.
He has been a small-business owner for more than 36 years. As mayor of Lewiston, he led the city to economic recovery without raising taxes – something that is very attractive to Auburn right now.
He is the candidate coming in with a plan.
Jenkins was instrumental in forming L/A Together. Why not work together as twin cities to save money? That concept is not new to him; he has already done it. I support his chance to finish the work he started.
John is honest and fair. He has the right plan and the right experience.
