LEWISTON – Linda D. Wing has been promoted to vice president in electronic banking at TD Banknorth Inc. in Lewiston. An ATM hardware manager, she will continue to oversee ATM conversions for all acquisitions and manage the rollout of new products and functionality, as well as the maintenance and availability, of the banking company’s more than 750 ATMs.

Wing joined TD Banknorth in 1990 and has 20 years in banking. Previous positions at TD Banknorth have included serving as a research manager in accounting and fraud, and a secondary market supervisor in leasing. She is a member of Metavante/New England Users Group.

An Auburn resident, Wing volunteers as the coordinator of the Salvation Army’s Backpacks for Kids, a program that she created which provides filled backpacks for underprivileged kids. Wing is presently attending St. Joseph’s College in Standish, and is a 1984 graduate of Lewiston High School.
