REDINGTON TOWNSHIP – A transcript of the public hearing on a proposed wind farm atop Black Nubble and Redington Pond Range mountains is available for public inspection.

Maine Land Use Regulation Commission is reviewing a rezoning petition from Maine Mountain Power LLC, to rezone approximately 1,000 acres to a planned development subdistrict to allow a 30-turbine wind farm in Redington Township.

A multiday public hearing was held on the proposal in August. The 1,050-page transcript from those hearings is now available for public review at LURC’s Augusta office at 18 Elkins Lane on the fourth-floor of the Harlow Building or can be downloaded from the Web site www.maine.gov/doc/lurc/projects/redington.
