I am writing about the article on a forgotten burial ground found in Roxbury, Mass. (Oct. 22)

I attended St. Joseph’s grammar school from 1963 to 1971 in Roxbury. Between the school and the church was a fenced-in grassy area. The students were never allowed to go in there. We were told that it was a graveyard.

My mother never believed me. It felt so good that after 40 years, I could call my mother in Roxbury and say the rumor was true.
