Amanda R. Burgess of Auburn enrolled at Colby College this fall. Before classes began she took part in an orientation that included an introduction to the academics and the cultural life at Colby as well as a four-day outdoor excursion. A graduate of Edward Little High School, Burgess is the daughter of Arthur and Gail Burgess of Auburn.
