AUBURN – Corrine M. Berwick, 75, of Foster Road died Friday, Nov. 3, at her home.

She was born in Warren, R.I. on Oct. 26, 1931, the daughter of Adelard and Elizabeth (Boulanger) Joncas. She moved to Maine in 1939, and attended Auburn schools.

She was the widow of Gerald Berwick, whom she married on May 5, 1951, and who died on Sept. 26, 1990.

She worked at the Maine Baking Co. and later for Shapiro Shoe and Supreme Slipper, where she retired.

She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church.

She was a loving and caring person who took care of many people who were in need before herself. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Florence Berwick of Auburn; her son, Stephen Berwick of Auburn; her sister, Mary Rose Butera of Herman; her brothers, Edmond Joncas, and his wife, Claire, of Lewiston and Adelard Joncas Jr., and his wife, Jeannette, of New Gloucester.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Yvonne Lamontagne and Rennette Gallagher; and her grandson, Nicholas A. Berwick.
