AUBURN – The Auburn Ski Association is planning its annual ski swap from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at Auburn Middle School, Court Street.

The swap will feature new and used Nordic and Alpine ski equipment, snowboards, boots and gear, as well as skates and hockey equipment.

Vendors expected to attend the swap include Sport Haus, Sports Outlet, Carter’s, Gee and Bee, Sunny Breeze, Ski Depot, Lost Valley Ski Shop, Auclair Cycle, Gorham Bike and Ski and Roger’s Ski Outlet.

Anyone interested bringing in equipment to swap may drop off items at Auburn Middle School from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.

The ski association is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support area youth skiing programs. Proceeds from the swap help to fund scholarships, middle and high school ski teams, SnowMad, Special Olympics and Central Maine Adaptive Sports.

The organization welcomes new members interested in fostering programs that support local youth. Anyone interested in joining the association or assisting at the swap may contact Christine Tanous at 777-1975.
