LEWISTON – An Entrees to Health presentation on human papillomavirus, or HPV, will be given by Chris Gillis, a certified nurse midwife with Women’s Health Associates at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave.

A healthy meal will be served for $5. Call 753-5467 to register by Friday, Nov. 10, and make checks payable to Entrees to Health and mail to Club 50, 100 Campus Ave., Suite 103, Lewiston, ME 04240.

Scout meetings

TURNER – Girl Scouts of Kennebec Council will hold parent information and registration meetings on the following dates and places:

Turner: Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m., Turner Elementary School; Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m., Turner Primary School.

Leeds: Monday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m., Leeds Central School.

Greene: Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m., Greene Central School.

Parents will have the opportunity to learn about Girl Scout activities in the community, as well as volunteer options available for adults. The registration fee is $10, payable by check. Financial assistance is available.
