1. I come from a background of service, both costumer service and service to my community. I want to continue to serve the people of Mechanic Falls, Otisfield and Oxford in the Legislature. I want to make Maine a place where my children and grandchild can live and prosper.
2. My top priorities are limiting state spending and that will bring tax relief to all Maine families. Locally, my top priority is the reconstruction of Route 26.
3. I support the Taxpayer Bill of Rights. I think it is time we have some controls over government spending. This is the only way we will be able to reduce taxes.
4. I am pro-life and I don’t think social issues will play a large part in this election. Some are trying to make an issue of abortion and anti-discrimination, but the big issues this year are the pocketbook issues: state spending and taxation.
5. Dirigo Health has not met the lofty goals that were set out. Health care in Maine is controlled by a monopoly and it’s time to re-introduce reforms in the system to bring back competition.
