1. I want to make a difference. As a farmer, business owner and mother of three, I have put my experience to work for our community. My focus is on good-paying, sustainable jobs and a stronger economy, working for the environment, health care, fair taxes and education.

2. I will continue the work I have done to advocate for the people I represent. I will also seek solutions for Maine’s key issue: creating sustainable prosperity without damaging Maine’s waters, air and land; to keep Maine the place we all love.

3. Mainers pay too much in taxes and our incomes are too low. But I believe TABOR will do more harm then good. We need a responsible solution that respects local control, and that doesn’t hinder our ability to grow jobs and provide quality education.

4. As I go door to door in my district, people are concerned about issues that impact their lives every day. Mainers care about fairness, personal responsibility and privacy. I support a woman’s right to choose and support the rights of adults to live their lives free from discrimination.

5. Dirigo Health is a groundbreaking program that is lowering costs and improving health care quality and access in Maine. But, it needs to be refined. We should work to improve Dirigo, and make DirigoChoice insurance more affordable and efficient so that more Maine families can benefit.
