Clean Election candidate?:
1. We must keep Maine moving forward in a changing economic environment. Change is incremental. There is no future in the past.
2 Health care for all Mainers.
3. TABOR is a bad idea. It has the fingerprints of Grover Norquist and big money coming out of Washington. If Maine elects TABOR and follows its constraints, along with the ever shrinking dollar coming from federal taxes, we will be in a fine kettle of fish by the end of the next gubernatorial cycle. Go online and check what happened to Colorado.
4. Keep Maine moving forward. There is no future in the past. I support a woman’s right to choose, and will not discriminate against anybody.
5. Dirigo Health has reduced health costs for those who subscribe to it. It has saved the state money. It needs tweaking for sure. Too many middle men, too many billing codes, more people and small businesses need to get enrolled. We have to go to a national single payer system or our economy will sink under the weight of a for-profit health care system.
