LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Oct. 30 with 34 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Toncer opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces.

The sick list included Emile Richards and Christine Harlow. Mary Groleau led in singing “Holy God We Praise Thy Name.” A guest, Jean Oakes, was present. The group sang “Happy Birthday” to those members who celebrated their birthday in October: Shirley Couture, Blanche Bilodeau, Joyce Richard, Athanase Couture, Diane Getz and Mary Lou Legere. The 50/50 was won by Bill Chabot.

The meeting adjourned and cards and games were played during a Halloween party with decorated tables and refreshments. A prize was given for the best decorated table.
