Lewiston – Douglas Noyes, 76, of Mechanic Falls, died Thursday, Nov 2, at Montello Manor after a long illness. He was born in Carthage, June 21, 1930, the son of Mildred Noyes.

He was an extremely loving father and husband who enjoyed fishing. He lived in Auburn for most of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Noyes of Mechanic Falls; three sons, Richard Noyes, and wife, Cindy, of Lewiston, Barry Noyes of Auburn and Jeffrey Noyes, and wife, Tina, of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Ela McDaniel, and husband, Thomas, of Carlton, Ore.; and six loving grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica, Jacob, Tyler, Katelyn and Nathan.
