RUMFORD – Girl Scouts of Kennebec Council will hold parent information and registration meetings in the area.
Girls and their parents can find out about Girl Scout activities taking place in the community and register.
The following meetings will be held:
Dixfield, Peru, Canton and Carthage: Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m., Dixfield Elementary School; Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m., Ludden Memorial Library, Dixfield.
Rumford, Mexico, Roxbury and Byron: Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m., Mexico Congregational Church (Green Church); Friday, Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m., Rumford Elementary School.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn about Girl Scout activities as well as volunteer options available for adults. A registration fee is $10 is payable by check. Financial assistance is available.
Girl Scouts of Kennebec Council provides programs for more than 10,000 girls ages 5 to 17.
