LEWISTON – Steven W. Beaulieu, 48, of Lewiston, died at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Saturday Nov. 4.
He was born in Hartford, Conn., May 8, 1958, a son of Pearley Beaulieu and Jeannette A. Desjardins, and lived in Lewiston since the age of three. He was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1976. He was a well-known sign painter under the name of Steve’s Signs after taking over his grandfathers business another well-known sign painter, Omer Desjardins. They loved each other very much.
He had also been working at Dingley Press for the past three years. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a sponsor of the Great Falls Balloon Festival and had other memberships. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He loved bowling, winning many trophies and playing baseball.
He adored and devoted his life to his two daughters, Tiffany and Jessica Beaulieu.
He is survived by his mother, Jeannette Beaulieu of Lewiston; his father, Pearley Beaulieu, also of Lewiston: his two daughters; his sister, Linda Therriault of Sabattus; his nephew, Randy Therriault, also of Sabattus; and aunts, uncles and cousins; his former mother-in-law, Claire LaMore; her children and her grandchildren; his many friends, especially, Lori Beaulieu, the mother of his two daughters.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Omer and Yvonne Desjardins; and paternal grandparents, Sadie and Felix Voisine.
A special thank you is extended to the emergency room doctors and nurses at CMMC, and the intensive care doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center during his final days.
