AUBURN – Police have arrested two juveniles and two adults on charges of breaking into cars over the weekend.
It marked the second time in less than a month that a rash of late-night car break-ins has occurred in more suburban parts of the city.
Police are investigating the possibility of a link to the earlier burglaries.
Police arrested Michael Peterson, 23, of 95 Wood St., Lewiston, and Ryan Caleb Boucher, 19, of Newbury Street at 3:43 a.m. Sunday on Meadow Lane. Police also arrested two juveniles, 15 and 16 years old, at the same time and place.
Each was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. Henderson also was detained on a probation hold, according to police records.
In late October, police reported burglars ransacked more than 30 unlocked cars, taking items such as iPods, cell phones and loose change.
