• The corner of Alfred Plourde Parkway and Gendron Drive. Lewiston Planning Board will review plans Nov. 13 for a 58,090-square-foot commercial building on 10 acres of Lot 6 of the Gendron Business Park. The plans call for a one-story, six-unit building that can be used for industrial, commercial or warehouse use. Each unit will have a rear loading dock and share the proposed 126 parking spaces. Projected cost $1.7 million.
• 65 Grove St., Lewiston, plans submitted for review of a 3-lot subdivision by the estate of Girard Pelletier. The 37,270-square-foot-development is situated at the corner of Pond Road and Grove Street.
• 730 Center St., Auburn, building permit issued Oct. 5 to convert former Service Merchandise building into Bed Bath & Beyond. Construction costs estimated at $1.2 million. Company spokeswoman predicted an early 2007 opening.
• 649 Turner St., Auburn, building permit issued for a new branch of Androscoggin Bank Oct. 25. Construction costs estimated at $800,000. Bank will be situated between Ruby Tuesday and Longhorn Steakhouse. Expected to open in March.
• 583 Main St., Lewiston, building permit issued in September to Ted Stokes to construct a two-story, 3,120-square-foot office building and apartment. Projected cost $250,000.
• 64 Lisbon St., Lewiston, building permit issued Oct. 17 to Ted West and Paradigm Development LLC for interior renovations of 15,000 square feet for office space and an elevator. Projected cost, $712,500.
• 130 Mill St., Lewiston, building permit issued Oct. 23 to the Bates Mill Limited Liability Co. to build a two-bay loading dock and trash Dumpster, and 2,200-square-foot entrance at Mill No. 1. Projected cost, $500,000.
• Demolition permits have been issued in October by the Lewiston Planning Department for a one-family home at 1639 Main St.; a three-family home at 323 Lisbon St.; and an 11,138-square-foot building at 308 Lisbon St.
