The bomb threats at the University of Southern Maine campuses last month were not only disrupting, but annoying. The caller/callers made threats by phone two days in a row. The first threat caused just the Portland campus to close, but the second threat caused all three campuses to close.

That is not fair to the students who attend the university.

Just because a person wanted to be foolish and thought it would be funny, students of the USM community were losing out on parts of their education. When a class is cancelled, it puts that class behind schedule.

I don’t believe it’s right.

There are only 15 weeks in a semester, and I would like to be able to attend every class to get all I can from the courses.
