Lewiston – Carmen Bellmore, 60, of Poland, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center on Thursday, Nov. 9, after a short illness.

She was born is Madawaska, Jan. 23, 1946, the daughter of Senai and Cecile (Cyr) Ouellette.

She had a vibrant personality and enjoyed making people laugh. She was often the life of the party with her display of crazy hats at Two Lakes Campground, where she and Buzz have been seasonal campers for more than 20 years.

She enjoyed gardening, collecting snowman memorabilia, traveling with “Buzz” and their cherished cocker spaniel “Coco” and volunteering at the Good Shepherd Food Bank. She touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves her life partner of 24 years, Maurice “Buzz” Bussiere of Poland; two sons, Danny, and his wife, Joanne, of Lewiston and Timmy of Pennsylvania; the love of her life, grandaughter, Kaylee Bellmore; and a sister, Gloria Duquette, and her husband, Jean, of Eustis.

She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Michael; and a sister, Nancy Begin.
