LEWISTON – Rosia A. Tardif, 89, of Lewiston, passed away at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center on Thursday, Nov. 9.
She was born on March 25, 1917, in Beecher Falls, Vt., a daughter of the late Pierre and Malvina (Giard) Bernier. She attended Lewiston schools and later went on to work for the shoe industry.
She worked for Clark Shoe for more than 20 years, was a housewife for many years and also volunteered for many years at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.
She greatly enjoyed bowling and had even ran a bowling league for the seniors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Armand L. Tardif, they were married on Dec. 26, 1941; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her two sons, Robert and Armand Jr.; her parents; six brothers; and four sisters.
