JAY – The wedding of Laurie Jean Daoust and Randall Scott Doughty was held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 12, in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the couple. Tammy Poulin, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Doughty is the daughter of Walter and Joanne Daoust of Livermore Falls. Mr. Doughty is the son of Brian and Sandra Doughty of Greenville.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line gown with open back, beads and sequins on the gown and a train. She carried a cascade of white roses, white freesia, white carnations tipped with navy and silver ribbons.

Sylvie Fournier, friend of the couple, was matron of honor, and Ed Fournier, friend of the couple, served as best man.

A reception followed at the AMVETS Hall in Jay, after which the couple traveled to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. They are residing in Jay.

The bride is a graduate of Livermore Falls High School, and is employed in quality assurance at ICT Group in Wilton.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Jay High School and is employed as a boiler operator at Wausau Mosinee.
