DURHAM – Timothy and Jennifer Kerl of White River Junction, Vt., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Allison Kerl of Durham, to Jeffery Blackman of Durham, son of Ed and Sharon Blackman of Lisbon Falls.

Miss Kerl is a 2000 graduate of Hartford High School and received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2004. She is employed at SMRT in Portland.

Mr. Blackman is a 2000 graduate of Lisbon High School and received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is employed at Whipple-Callender Architects in Portland.

The wedding will be held on Sept. 29 at Lost Valley Ski Lodge.
