Group Homes to hold fundraiser

RUMFORD – Rumford Group Homes Inc. has announced its first community raffle fundraiser, the “Twelve Days of Christmas” Ultimate Raffle. All proceeds will benefit the children, youth and families the agency serves.

Rumford Group Homes has 12 raffle prizes that will be awarded daily from Dec. 11 to 22. For a donation of $5, participants will receive 12 chances to win items valued between $50 and priceless. Tickets are on sale until Dec. 10.

Prizes include an autographed football signed by Junior Seau of the New England Patriots, a two-day stay and ski package at Sunday River, Ashley Rocker recliner, overnight stay at the Town and Country Motor Lodge in Gorham, N.H., Hewlett Packard Laserjet Printer, executive high back leather office chair and several gift cards and packages valued from $50 to $150.

Rumford Group Homes hopes to raise $5,000. Funds will be used to support its programs, including residential, support, crisis and homeless youth outreach services to children, adolescents and young adults in need due to abuse, neglect, family crisis or abandonment.

Rumford Group Homes is a nationally accredited nonprofit social service agency. For 30 years Rumford Group Homes has served abused and neglected children, youth and families in the tri-county region of Oxford, Androscoggin and Franklin counties.
