Farmington police Chief Richard Caton waits while a Wal-Mart sales clerk rings up seven new digital cameras, provided free to the department through a $1,200 company grant. Caton wants every on-duty officer to have a camera with them to help them document crimes. “As we all know, a photo speaks a lot more than just words,” he said. Caton thanked Wal-Mart for its donation, and Wal-Mart associate Peter Zanoni replied, “We’re glad we can help the local police.”
