BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Bruins acquired Stanislav Chistov from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a third round draft pick in the 2008 draft, the team announced Monday.

Chistov, 23, played one game for the Ducks this season and three games with Anaheim’s AHL affiliate, Portland, on a conditioning assignment.

The 2008 pick that Boston gave up was acquired along with Paul Mara on June 25 from the Phoenix Coyotes, said Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli.

Chistov, a left-winger, is a native of Chelyabinsk, Russia. He spent last season playing in the Russian Super League, scoring 11 goals along with 21 assists in 47 games with Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Chistov had 14 goals and 48 total points over two seasons (2002-04) with Anaheim.

Also Monday, the Bruins recalled goaltender Brian Finley and assigned defenseman Matt Lashoff and center Yan Stastny to Providence.

It is Finley’s second call-up to Boston in a week. He was brought up Nov. 7 when Boston demoted goalie Hannu Toivonen. But Toivonen was injured in Saturday night’s game and Finley was sent back down Sunday, when he made 16 saves to earn a victory in Providence.

‘s 4-3 victory over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Finley is 6-3 with a 3.06 goals-against average for Providence.

Lashoff, who was recalled by the Bruins on Oct. 25, played in seven games, recording one assist.

Stasny is in his second season with the Bruins after being acquired as part of the Sergei Samsonov trade in March. He has played in 11 games for Boston this season, tallying one assist.
