LEWISTON – Local Dunkin’ Donuts franchises recently made a $3,200 donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Auburn/Lewiston to support the organization’s youth programs. The funds were raised through sales of Dunkin’ Smoothies during the 14th annual Great Falls Balloon Festival in August.

Franchisees Frank Minigell, Bob Seavey, Kevin Pacheco, Frank Pacheco and Normand Boulay, who own stores throughout the Lewiston-Auburn area, have held the fundraiser for four consecutive years.

“We’re extremely grateful for the longtime support of Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees,” said Bob Clark, chief professional officer for the Federated Boys and Girls Clubs of Maine. “Their generosity has helped so many kids from the Lewiston-Auburn area discover the path to a positive future.”

Dunkin’ made the donation during an afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club.

Boys and Girls Club of Auburn/Lewiston is an affiliate of the Federated Boys and Girls Clubs of Maine and a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the nation’s oldest and largest organization with a primary mission of providing services to youth from disadvantaged circumstances.
