While it is not necessary to agree with other opinions expressed by letters to the editor in the Sun Journal, I felt a breath of fresh air upon reading the letter by Cynthia Ferron in the Nov. 7 newspaper.
Counting the millions of dollars given candidates from political organizations, friends, and a multitude of sources which turn the airwaves, newsprint and the highways to a virtual wasteland, Ferron’s suggestion of using those funds to build a house for Habitat for Humanity would be a lasting, heart-warming gesture of caring for candidates’ constituents.
