I would like to commend Russ Dillingham of the Sun Journal staff for his outstanding photographs. He constantly manages to reach out and grasp the daily beauty of life, both human and animal. His Nov. 7 photo of the chipmunk is just another example of his excellent work.
Who among us can remember, earlier this summer, his work with the bumblebee, and the turkeys crossing the road? Or how he masterfully captured the fine detail of a baseball as it was being delivered to home plate. Outstanding.
When deserving, everyone needs to be told that he or she is doing a good job, Dillingham is no exception.
I am honored and proud to receive his ocular delights.
