CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A woman suffered numerous cuts and scrapes on her head and arms after someone entered her home while she sleeping and assaulted her, police said Tuesday.

Police responded at about 10:35 p.m. The woman told them she didn’t know her assailant, who had entered the home through an unlocked door.

The woman was treated and released from Concord Hospital.

Police are investigating.
